Not to be outdone from Nintendo, Sony drops their first State of Play for 2021, BlizzCon 2021 announced the Diablo II remake and Soulja Boy is making yet another gaming console. All that and the Nintendo 3DS turns 10 this year all on episode 259 of Rated G for Gamers.
Sony drops their August State of Play and there’s some good surprises in there. We get gameplay of Godfall, Hitman VR gets announced and a Braid remaster is coming. Also in the news, Rocksteady is working on a Suicide Squad game and Microsoft’s xCloud is launching in September amid Sony and Apple rejecting their app. All that and Dave recounts his brief flirtation with game development oh so many years ago.
The end of the year is almost here we’re still getting some juicy news. Both Sony and Nintendo dropped their own directs with a bunch of new announcements. In the second half of the show returning guest Matthew Adler joins the show to discuss the Game Awards, the winners and losers, the trailers and surprises.
