As we head into the holiday season, so many delays for upcoming games were announced. UbiSoft and Naughty Dog put the breaks on the the Last of Us 2, Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods and Monsters. Rated G discusses why that is a good thing and what it means for the games and these studios. Also in the news, Fallout 76 goes premium membership, Microsoft re-confirms all Xbox One controllers will work with Project Scarlett and we may just have gotten a Diablo 4 leak via an online sale listing.
We know the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett are coming next year and this week we get someone who’s seen the systems in action and is quoted as saying they’ve seen nothing like it before. Finally, Dan goes all conspiracy theory over a tweet from Nintendo.
We got details on Sony’s latest console, speculated name PS5, in way of a launch event! Coming next February is an event that will most like unveil the PS5 and details on the launch date, features and some killer hype train trailers. Microsoft patents a controller that strangely resembles joycons, Nintendo DMCAs a ton of music on YouTube and Bubble Bobble comes to the Switch with 4-player action. All that and Dave has a travel tale that thankfully ends him back home safe and sound.
E3 is almost upon us and Dan and Dave just can’t wait. They break down their predictions as well as hear from some special guests from the Gaming Podcast Alliance. Also, a little game called Death Stranding got some bombshell news. We got a release date and a brand new trailer with gameplay footage and a peak at what this whole crazy world is about. Someone should of told the company producing the Sonic movie that the 3D model looked a little off. We got the Sonic movie trailer this last week and the internet exploded with negativity. So much so that the director took to social media to claim that they were going to redo the CG. Will it help this troubled mascot, we discuss.
