This is it! Tears of the Kingdom has finally dropped! Dan and Dave spent the day at the Nintendo World Store too celebrate and pick up a copy. They’re only a few hours in but does the game live up to the hype? Also, a speedrunner has already beaten the game in less than 2 hours and the game has been out less than a day. Crazy indeed. The trailer for the Gran Turismo movie trailer drops and boy do Dan and Dave have differing opinions. But that’s not the biggest news this week. Phil Spencer makes an appearance on the Kinda Funny podcast and takes responsibility for Xbox’s recent missteps, Activision stands to get 3 billion if Microsoft deal falls through and a new Double Dragon game is in the works on episode 358.
The CMA this week in a shocking turn of events blocks the sale of Activision Blizzard to Microsoft, the Twisted Metal TV show trailer drops, Sony gets Japan exclusive FFXVI accessories and good news for gamers who want a PSVR 2. The final Tears of the Kingdom trailer and an in depth Final Fantasy XVI State of Play both dropped this week. Dave has dubbed this time of 2023 as Christmas 3 because of how good these presentations look. They break down all the juicy details. Also, Redfall will only have 30fps quality mode on launch, Suicide Squad delayed again and a rare Sonic Adventure competition disc resurfaces all on episode 355.
