Someone should of told the company producing the Sonic movie that the 3D model looked a little off. We got the Sonic movie trailer this last week and the internet exploded with negativity. So much so that the director took to social media to claim that they were going to redo the CG. Will it help this troubled mascot, we discuss. Also in the news, a new Earthworm Jim game is coming but to a very unlikely console, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat and others get inducted to the Video Game Hall of Fame and we learn that Dan has never played Solitaire before!!! A revelation indeed. And we round out our show with podcaster and games journalist Matt Adler. We talk Katana Zero and Days Gone and what the future holds for Playstation.
Mortal Kombat, a franchise that always seems to be in the middle of a controversy, is back in the limelight again over excessivemicrotransactions and an ending cinematic for Jax that some fans are pretty sour on. We get Persona 5 DLC news and another spinoff in the form of a musou style game for both PS4 and Switch, Shuntaro Furukawa denies any new Switch version for E3 and Tim Sweeny, CEO of Epic Games takes some shots at the Steam Store.
