Mortal Kombat, a franchise that always seems to be in the middle of a controversy, is back in the limelight again over excessivemicrotransactions and an ending cinematic for Jax that some fans are pretty sour on. We get Persona 5 DLC news and another spinoff in the form of a musou style game for both PS4 and Switch, Shuntaro Furukawa denies any new Switch version for E3 and Tim Sweeny, CEO of Epic Games takes some shots at the Steam Store. And it’s the end of the month so that means Dave and Dan go over the upcoming games for May. All that and more on episode 162 of Rated G for Gamers.
Dan and Dave have finished the 4 day game extravaganza known as PAX East. This year was exceptional to say the least. We’ve got coverage on all the games, all the panels, all the Borderlands 3 news and oh so much more. Join Dan and Dave as they breakdown the highlights of the show. Also, don’t forget to enter our April giveaway on Twitter. We are giving one lucky fan a copy of Shantae on Switch. Good luck and keep gaming.
And here are folks. The end of day 3 and me and Dan are beat. So much good stuff on display and we keep finding more that we missed! Throwback shooter and loveletter to Contra Blazing Chrome, Terry Cavanaugh’s delightful Dicey Dungeons, the Ninja Gaiden-esque Cyber Shadow produced by Yacht Club Games, the head snappin’, bone crackin’, spear tossing Mortal Kombat 11 and a ton more. So day 3 is down in the books. We got one final day of PAX. One last day to check out all the games that we couldn’t get to in the first three. Here! We! Go!
