Finally we get some show stopping next gen footage. Epic debuts the Unreal 5 engine on PS5 hardware and wows the internet. Rated G discusses what this means for next gen. Also in the news, Ghosts of Tsushima takes center stage in Sony’s latest State of Play, Tony Hawk 1 & 2 get the HD remake treatment and a new Paper Mario is coming in July.
Microsoft’s been making all the first moves. Console reveal, system teardown, now the first next gen gaming showcase for the Series X. Dan and Dave weigh with their thoughts on the whole quarantine style presentation. The day has come folks! Our resident RPG hater has come around and seen the light. Dan loves the FFVII Remake, both of your hosts do. It’s an amazing remake, perhaps the best and they discuss at the top of the show. In the news, Ubisoft announces a viking themed Assassin’s Creed game, Geoff Keighley has a massive game fest planned for the summer and the summer GDC is now going all digital.
We’re getting dangerously close to what would be E3 time and the rumors keep swirling. Sony is rumored to reveal more on the PS5 come may, Metroid Prime Trilogy remake gets leaked and Google Stadia plans to have a presentation as this episode drops. All that and Reggie swoops in to fix Gamestop and get them back on track.
